But few people know that it is also commonly burned to keep bugs away. We love the idea of blending Palo Santo essential oil with citronella oil, a proven all-natural insect repellent. The resin in the Palo Santo is naturally aromatic and this alluring combination produces a woodsy scent that mixes tea tree and cedar with citrus undertones.
